An Olympic Challenge!

What a great way to bring this blog out of retirement! I admit to lazily spending the last two years avoiding much writing here, and yeah, I made some plushies and had some grand adventures and all that, but it's hardly an excuse... What spurred me out of my winter doldrums and into full-on creator mode was an exciting challenge from Shmancy's PlushYou! blog. I held my breath, crossed my fingers, and sent positive vibes about Curling as I waited for my category assignment. However, as soon as I heard that I'd be working on "Bobsleigh" there was just one thought in my head: PEAS!

Plushie Photo Excursion

So this morning's adventures led us as far as the bathroom, site of massive mirror and swanky mood lighting. Our early birds today are Clive the abominable garlic clove, Kat 2.0, Botch the Worry Chicken, and Bucky the pompadoured carrot. Here's a sneak at their bonding experiences:

Leroy Finds Love

For Sparky's birthday, only a plush pal would do... Here's Leroy, our new office playmate (he claims those extra limbs come in handy for keeping track of all things in file folders, but mostly he just hangs around trying to look indifferent). Leroy's head feathers are rumored to have been plucked from the startled and utterly too fashionable plume of a rare neon ostrich.... but Leroy has also been known to exaggerate. Though, he does have a rather pimpin' disco swirly leg.

Dino Mayhem

This year's adopt-a-family silent auction gave rise to the creation of the mighty (as in mightily adorable) feltosaurs... here they are in their ferocious cuteness. RAAAAR!
